KPS-Wealth and Honor

In ancient Korea, people believed having paintings of peony blossoms in their living rooms brought wealth and honor to their family. I am working on reinterpreting the traditional Korean painting style using cephalopod ink and water color on rice paper using oil paints on canvas. This is a new challenge for me and I am fascinated with the idea of re-interpreting styles of painting from my ancestral roots.
